Certificate Program for Good Governance in the Public Sector

Argüden Governance Academy launched its “Good Governance in Public Sector” program with a cocktail.  Prof. Dr. Gülay Barbarosoğlu, The Rector of Boğaziçi University, and Board members of Academy; Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), Ethics & Reputation Society (TEİD), Turkish Investor Relations Society (TÜYİD), Transparency International Turkey and academic members of Boğaziçi University attended the cocktail, organized by the Academy, which operates under the aegis of Boğaziçi University Foundation (BÜVAK).

 Addressing the event, Argüden Governance Academy Director Barış Dinçer underlined that this is a joint certificate program, prepared by Argüden Governance Academy and Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center and he said that it would start in Ankara this month. Barış Dinçer emphasized that in the process of preparing the infrastructure for this training they consulted and exchanged opinions with experts in the Office of Prime Ministry, NGO’s founded by public sector experts, such as Energy Sector Experts or Competition Authority Experts, and continued:

“About 40 public sector experts will attend the “Certificate Program for Good Governance in the Public Sector”, free of charge. The first part of the certificate program will take place in Ankara between May 14 and June 4. The other three modules will be completed in the autumn. Dinçer also announced the Good Governance Conference, which will take place in Ankara on May 26, with the attendance of Nick Malyshev, OECD Director of Regulatory Policy. He said that the first book of Argüden Governance Academy would be introduced to public at this event.
