We shared our publication Quality of Regulatory Policy 2025, prepared in light of the OECD Regulatory Policy Outlook 2025, as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen effective, transparent, and trust-building public policy practices in Türkiye.

As part of the Regulatory Policy Outlook Launch, held on 6 January at TÜSİAD headquarters, the panel titled “The Impact of Regulatory Policy Governance on Everyday Life” explored how regulatory policies affect daily life, economic activity, public services, and public trust.
Moderated by Dr. Erkin Erimez, Managing Partner at ARGE Consulting, the panel featured Anna Pietikäinen, Head of Regulatory Policy in Public Governance at the OECD, Tobias Querbach, Regulatory Policy Analyst at the OECD, and Dr. Yılmaz Argüden, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Argüden Governance Academy.
The discussion focused on human-centred, participatory, transparent, and forward-looking approaches to regulation, with particular attention to strengthening stakeholder engagement, expanding ex-post impact assessments, and institutionalising evidence-based policymaking. Drawing on international experience and examples from Türkiye, the speakers also discussed how regulatory policies can be designed to be more effective, inclusive, and conducive to building public trust.
